They are extremely valuable and will fetch very high prices on the auction house. Commonly available boreal leather will sell easily, just because it’s common doesn’t mean it can’t be profitable. Borean itself will cover many expenses.

Alchemy is also a great profession for Wrath of the Lich King. This is because in WOTLK there is a constant need for flasks, transmutations, and consumables. The most profitable Mastery is the Elixir specialization. But potion mastery and transmutation mastery can also bring profit.
