In our 47th episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness of attacks on Christianity around the world. Remember, insanity is a state of serious mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a frantic or chaotic form of activity. Let’s take a look at some leftist Christian craziness going on right now.
In the land of Fruits & Nuts, California, Planned Parenthood has a goal for the new year. SB 1004, sponsored by Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson, would review “existing protections for California patients to ensure that information about any confidential services is hidden from parents. The bill expands the definition of ‘confidential services’ to include ‘services related to mental health, reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorders, transgender health, including gender-affirming care, and intimate partner violence – surprise mom and dad.
In South Carolina, the American Humanist Society won a significant lawsuit from a school district there. Humanists condemned the District’s practice of praying at graduation ceremonies. The District argued that students have a right to free speech. Thanks to our Leftist Justices, the District was ordered to pay $450,000 in legal fees to the Humanists and stop the sentence. And you thought the First Amendment still existed in America, huh?
Moving on to our new stepfather, China, we find a church more unpopular than here in the United States. By the way, they recently shut down a religious service that was being held on Zoom, a Chinese platform. It appears that the church in question was not authorized by the government to hold services. In addition to the Pastor, they entered the houses of six people who were watching the broadcast and took them to jail. Mistakes are punished.
Returning to the mainland here we visit the Windy City, Chicago. The mayor, who seems to control everything except the skyrocketing murder rate in cities, put her foot down. One of her city officials threatened to use any means necessary, including demolishing the building, to stop worship services at the Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church. Even though the pastor used all of the CDC protocol and then some, city officials aren’t listening to him.
In Turkey, a once secular nation, the war against Christians continues to escalate. A group of young Turks, including the son of a mayor, broke into a Bible publishing house in Malatya and tied up its three Christian employees, tortured them for hours and killed them. “We didn’t do this for ourselves, but for our religion.” Wow, does that do it right? The attacks are taking place across the country without opposition from the government.
In Egypt, a Muslim threw a Molotov cocktail at a Greek Orthodox church in Alexandria. In Taraba state in Nigeria, a Christian pastor and his wife were shot dead by a Muslim while working on his farm. In the church of St. Alexander Nevsky in Belgrade, the Serbian capital, two Muslim men entered the church during services and robbed everyone. In Burkina Faso, Muslims hunted down and killed 58 Christians because… well, they were Christians. Is it just me, or do all these dastardly events have something in common?
Ending on a strange note, famous singer Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, will play Jesus in the upcoming movie, Habit. She will portray Jesus as a lesbian having an affair with another woman. The producer noted that Paris is bisexual in real life. I guess that makes everything okay?
