A favorite meeting place in the city is the Cvjetni Square. A large number of people like to drink coffee on Cvjetni square. The square gets its name from the flower stalls that are placed there.

Favorite ride is Maksimir. It is a historical park from the 18th century. A zoo is located within the Maksimir.

Zagreb residents like to spend their free time at the Jarun and Bundek lakes. In addition, Medvednica Mountain is a very popular tourist resort. Sljeme is situated in the mountains. It has marked trails for skiing.
