Two Strange Incidents That Defy Science – The Power of Bhrigu Samhita

The ancient Rishi (Saint Learned Person) named Bhrigu is credited with making all known horoscopes in the world. These horoscopes defy modern astrology as they were made thousands of years ago and yet they are valid even today. The scientific explanation is a bit easier since the planets return to their positions after one cycle.

However, the applicability of a horoscope made hundreds of years ago to a person in the present time seems implausible. It is a psychic phenomenon. Most horoscopes have been destroyed with the many invasions and wars that have been a part of the subcontinent’s history. But some of them have survived the ravages of man and nature and are available in some places in India. One such place is at Railway Mandi, Hoshiarpur. The original custodian of these Pandit Desraj horoscopes is no more and now his heirs have taken over.

heand General Choudhry Incident

One of the strange incidents in question, General JN Choudhry, a four-star general in the Indian Army. General Choudhry recounts in his biography that when he was commander of the Western Command Army in Simla, he was going to retire. They persuaded him to pay a visit to Hoshiarpur. That of a ‘learned pundit’ who could predict the future. Consequently, the general decided to visit Hoshiarpur. He met the Pandit who after a search told him that he had found the ‘kundali’ horoscope of him.

The horoscope was opened by the Pandit, who read some initial data from it. He informed the general that the horoscope says that General Choudhry would come to this place (Hoshiarpur) and be promoted to Chief of the Army. This astonished the General who was preparing to retire. But the events predicted in the Horoscope were fulfilled and due to a combination of factors the General did not retire, but instead was promoted to Chief of the Army General Staff. In 1964 and he led the army against Pakistan in the 1965 war.

Psychic incident with KM Munshi

Another incident related by Mr. Katakar in his book Numerology is again something out of the ordinary. It is related that in 1945 the late KM Munshi, the veteran Congress leader who was also the editor of ‘Bhavans journal’ experienced something extraordinary during his visit to Hoshiarpur. He reportedly met Pandit Desraj and was astounded by the bizarre turn of events that unfolded at that time. As usual, the details of KM Munshi’s birth were taken and the Pandit began to read the horoscope. KM Munshi has recorded that the first sentence mentioned that he (KM Munshi) would visit this place and he went on to mention that he will be informed of an important meeting to take place. The moment the Pandit read this line, KM Munshi’s secretary, who was in the next room, rushed in and reminded the Congress leader that he had an appointment with the Maharaja of Kashmir.

Both incidents have something strange about them and one can only marvel at the power of the forecasts of the saint Bhrigu. He must have been a great psychic. There have been many other people, myself included, who have found the predictions absolutely outstanding. Horoscopes can still be accessed by anyone visiting Hoshiarpur, which can be easily reached from Delhi. Pandit Desraj is no longer, but his sons, although at war with each other, continue this great legacy. Perhaps further scientific research is required to correlate these amazing events. Scientists will have to examine the evidence again and relate it to the forecasts attribute.
