Angels raising with woman. The shocking revelation that is barely mentioned in the Bible has a strong presence in the Book of Enoch. “And the angels, the sons of heaven, saw them and desired them, and said to one another: Come, let us choose wives for ourselves from among the daughters of men, and let us beget sons.” (1 Enoch 6:2).
Demigods: myth or reality?
How could this happen right under God’s nose? This unthinkable mixture of the race of angels with the human race! What were his children like? What happened to these half-breeds? Are they the demigods of Greek mythology? The children of the gods were certainly beautiful; And they were as powerful as they were beautiful. Having all the rights and dowries of their parents, they were honored and given the status of a god and were worshipped.
Each culture has its gods whose history dates back to the time when fallen angels ruled the world. There are hundreds of ancient Egyptian and Greek gods: gods of the underworld, gods of fertility, gods of the dawn, gods of the earth, gods of the stars, they all demand worship.
The word adoration means more than just respect or homage. Worship carries with it the meaning of authorship. The fallen angels wanted humanity to look upon them as the giver of life, the sustainer of the soul, the one who fills the earth with plenty, drives away evil, and bestows blessings and personal favors. And so the old gods were feared and worshipped. They were seen as guardians and granters of supernatural powers.
The one true God who created man for Himself now competed for man’s love. Instead of loving only God, God’s creation loves many gods, including himself. This act of seeking life in other gods means that the one true God is set aside as the stranger. The truth is that in our hearts we know that this violation has occurred.
God curses the demigods and the angels swear revenge
Fallen angels and their children ruled the earth. The Watchers’ plan was to spread over the face of the earth. They promised ancestry, power, and eternal life to their faithful subjects. They placed their famous statues in all corners of the world, and those who swore allegiance to them were allowed to live.
If there’s one thing God wants to imprint on our minds, it’s that He’s in control. Demonstrating this, God initiated a 6-step plan to judge these fallen heavenly beings:
1) God cursed his children, turning them into grotesque and monstrous beings,
2) God set the Watchers against each other and angelic wars broke out on earth,
3) God sent the flood in the days of Noah to exterminate the race of demigods and their parents,
4) God sentenced the spirits of these rebellious dead to inhabit the earth,
5) God clipped their wings so they wouldn’t escape the flood,
6) God sentenced thousands of fallen angels who conspired with the Watchers to prisons in the underworld.
What about the angels’ threat to take revenge on God for misrepresenting his children? Is there a connection between a second wave of fallen angels that appeared after the flood and today’s UFO activity? What’s with these reports of aliens reproducing humans? There is something in him that smells of history repeating itself. And if that’s true, are we headed for another massive showdown with God?
