Honeymoon Resorts in Costa Rica – For a Spectacular Time

Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how much work it is and most of us don’t hire a wedding planner! This is the reason why we should not spend so much time and effort on the actual honeymoon. It should be simple, really! Costa Rica honeymoon resorts offer just that and are absolutely the best. You’ll find many ways to individualize the actual package, but the hotel and resort offer so much variety that the simplest package can often be the best.

The resorts themselves are almost always all-inclusive so you don’t have to worry about a thing and there is usually plenty to do or you can just relax, enjoy the ocean, beach and fresh food. The fish is extremely fresh and the fruit is amazing. Costa Rican coffee is homegrown and world famous.

Then you have the views: oceans on both coasts, mountains, rainforests, and jungles. Depending on where you decide to stay, you may be visited by parrots, toucans or even monkeys who like to share your fruit from time to time in the morning…

In Costa Rica, almost anything is possible: you can choose to go water skiing, parasailing, surfing, zip lining, or biking. There is a great list of activities. Most of the resorts also have a good nightlife with bands, pool parties, etc. etc. On the other hand, if you and your partner simply want to enjoy the beauty of the country in solitude, that is also possible.

Some good places to go, where there are resorts:

Jaco is on the Pacific just a couple of hours from the main international airport in San José. This place is booming and tourism is becoming very important. That being said, the place still has a village charm.

Manuel Antonio is also in the Pacific but further south. Here you can find resorts at higher altitudes overlooking the ocean. Manuel Antonio National Park is an incredible adventure that you cannot miss if you are in the area. It’s best to hire a (very reasonable) guide, as he or she can point out animals and insects that you would have walked by without seeing, and you can hear all about them. You also visit the beautiful beach in the park where you can swim.

Both places have great nightlife, if you want it.

Honeymoon resorts in Costa Rica are truly a wonderful place to spend time with your partner and enjoy life in paradise!
