Natural stone has been recognized as the best material for tiles and in demand by people for many centuries. Previously, the use of natural stone tiles was more prominent than other tile materials. It is not a new idea. Since historical times, this type of mosaic is being popular for everyone. There is no difference in the qualities that natural stone tiles have than before. The only difference is the varieties that are available on the market, giving you many options in terms of types, sizes, colors, and finishes. Various types of stone tiles are now produced commercially and are largely available at any tile store.

Designer tiles made of natural stone are acceptable for flooring, wall design and many other purposes all over the world as they are durable and suitable for any conditions. They provide an aesthetic value to the home or building where they are installed. Natural stone comes from three basic types of rocks: sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Travertine and limestone are examples of sedimentary stone, granite is an example of igneous stone, and slate and marble are examples of metamorphic stone.

Granite, marble, travertine, and limestone are very typical examples of natural stone tiles.

One of the most beautiful and durable tiles is the granite tile. Commonly perceived as the designer tile, it is used in home decoration and commercial buildings. It is used for tabletops, floors, retaining walls, and landscaping around a center of fountains or ponds. This is an important structural and ornamental stone. It has high compressive strength and durability and is therefore used in most structural projects. One of the most popular application areas for granite tiles is countertops. Because compared to other tiles, granites are the most durable countertops available today. Granite has also been a popular material for kitchens and domestic floors. This is because it is the hardest of all natural stones. They are also resistant to acids and alkalis unlike marble and limestone.

A variety of elegant patterns and colors are found among granite tiles and are used in custom tile configurations.

They are composed of quartz, feldspars and micas and various other minerals. The minerals offer good color and texture to the granites. Granite tiles are available in polished and matte finishes. White granite tile designs are slightly more expensive than some other materials as they have more longevity and are more beautiful.
