Climb the highest mountain

There’s a song in the musical show that Oliver calls “I’d do Anything.” One line in that song has Nancy singing “Would you go up a hill?” with the Dodger replying “Anything for you”.

Now “would you buy a rope?” for your son? The rope ladder, that is! There are all kinds of ways that children learn: visual, musical, logical, interpersonal, etc. Children also learn through body kinesthetic movement, or another way of putting it: using their body. Don’t think that educational toys like Baby Einstein products are the only things you should buy for your child’s education. Most parents understand this and put a golf club or baseball bat in the hands of their children by the age of two. And moms, don’t be afraid of the rope ladder.

With proper supervision, the ladder is a wonderful way for your child to learn. Climbing the rope ladder will give your child confidence and provide a memory trigger that they can associate with the rest of their life. When the young adult is running a race or studying for that test, he can use the trigger in his memory to climb the rope ladder; He or she will say, “I can do it, I can finish or win this race, I can pass or get an A on this test, I can climb the highest mountain. I’ve done it before!”

So when your child sings “Would you buy me a rope ladder?” or “Can I play soccer?” Think twice before saying “No.” For educational reasons, the answer may be “Anything for you.”
