Cagban Beach is the beach port of the island of Boracay; well, this is how it has been known for a long time, until recently, when Cagban beach has started to grow as an attractive tourist destination. Although Cagban offers similarities to the other beaches in terms of crystal blue water and soft white sand, well, Cagban beach offers you its own unique taste of these natural beauties that have to be seen to be believed. Tourist-friendly beach that is well connected with land and water transport: Due to the increasing number of tourist visits in recent years, the number of multiplying restaurants, bars and resorts there has also skyrocketed considerably. Also, transportation will never be a problem for you when you are at Cagban beach. Whether you want a trike ride or a banka boat ride, you will get it! As it is known as Boracay’s main port beach, it was already quite developed in its own way, although not as urbanized as it is now. The government has invested a considerable amount of money and effort in developing the infrastructure and services available around the beach, including the roads connected to it; Local non-profit support groups and the government have also done considerable development on Cagban beach, so that tourists can have fun there without any problems! While Tulubhan Beach takes you south to Boracay, Cagban Beach is its northern counterpart.
This beach is very well communicated both by land and by sea with the main cities of the country. For example, if you are coming here from Cebu or Manila, you can take a plane or boat flight that takes you directly to the port of Caticlan. While waiting in the port of Caticlan, the boats bound for Cagban beach would arrive here to pick up the passengers. While the plane ride from Manila or Cebu to Caticlan port would take about an hour, the boat ride from Caticlan port to Cagban beach takes only about thirty minutes. It doesn’t get better than this! With so little time spent on the trip itself, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the natural landscapes of the beach!
Many Hotels and Resorts – Being the main port of Boracay and currently elevated to the status of being one of the most popular tourist attractions on the island, many hotels and resorts have sprung up on Cagban Beach. Here you can get a well furnished room with all the essential amenities you want. In fact, I would say that the quality of the rooms I got here was as good as the ones in Manila.
Peace and quiet: Despite its urbanized and well-developed state ,. the beach is not as crowded and noisy as Playa Blanca. As such, if you want a beach with easy availability of food, snacks, rooms, etc., as well as a peaceful and quiet environment, you can get the best of both worlds here. The water and the favorable winds of this beach make water sports a truly pleasant activity. You can enjoy diving, kayaking, snorkeling, etc., among other things!
