Are you too old to outgrow matching gifts with your mom or daughter? I guess it depends on whether you’re the mother or the daughter.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to highlight my top 5 matching gifts for mother and daughter, in order of age (more or less).
- Aprons: Every little girl loves to bake with her mom, but for very young girls, looking like mom while baking is out of this world. Giving them matching aprons makes that moment even more special. You can find matching identical aprons, or different styles with the same pattern, like a full apron for mom and a half apron for daughter. There are also personalized aprons you can find with phrases like “Chef” and “Sous Chef.”
- Pijama: mommy and me pajamas are great for Saturday nights with mom and her child(ren), playing games, watching movies, or doing puzzles. Whatever the activity, it’s always better in pajamas, and it’s even better in pajamas that match mom’s.
- Bags: Purses, Luggage, Cosmetic Bags or Totes. When you see a mom with a gorgeous bag and right behind her is her sweet little daughter carrying a miniature version of it, it’s laughter adorable. Personally, I love my pandora “loving mother” charm and smile every time I see my daughter with her “daughter” charm on her bracelet.
