Having a good website and/or blog is not all you need to get tons of visitors, because if you don’t make your website/blog visible by driving traffic to your website or blog, it will be invisible in cyberspace. It’s like saying anyone can contact you by visiting your home, but if people don’t know where you live, they can’t visit you, no matter how much they’d like to.

Running a business online is in many ways the same as running it offline, you advertise your business offline and you have to advertise it online, that is if you want to make any sales.

To start getting traffic online, this is my list of proven methods to drive traffic to your website or blogs.

One: Submit your website or blog to search engines.

You can do it using one of the many services available online, you can do it yourself manually, you can buy or find a free software by searching the net and if you can afford to buy the best one for your needs. . It’s always a good idea to exchange links with other blogs or websites whenever you can. When using your own submission software, don’t forget to include all links to your website pages. Anything that links to your front page should be included for the best results.

Two: advertising through targeted pay-per-click ads with Google, Yahoo and Facebook, etc.

You will find many websites that will put an ad on their site for you to do an ad exchange or banner exchange, as pay per click can be an expensive method.

Three: Links; Author good interesting articles and people will click on your website blog link, banner exchange links or whatever social media you use. It’s a good idea to do as much of this as possible before submitting to search engines.

Four: social networks like Twitter, Facebook or My-space, etc.

You need to tell all your friends about what you have produced by placing the link in your option, for example, “What’s Happening” on your social media page.

Five: viral networks, videos, audios, articles, all of which can link to your website and will bring you traffic.
