Los Angeles in a weekend

Los Angeles is an amazing city to spend time in and you could easily spend weeks exploring all it has to offer. Culture, arts, sports, the city has it all. But what if you don’t have weeks, what if you only have one weekend. This article will tell you the things to see and do if you only have a couple of days to spend in Los Angeles.

The first thing you should do when you arrive in the city is to visit Universal Studios Hollywood. Take a tour of old movie sets and see where movie magic has been made. There are also rides and entertainment for just about every member of the family. It is a must see for sure. Universal Studios will have the best part of your first day in Los Angeles, but if you’re out before the sun goes down, head to the J Paul Getty Center. This museum has an extensive art collection that includes works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Monet. These are works that you will never see anywhere else, so you should take the opportunity. That should wrap up your first day in town. Go have a nice dinner and get ready for tomorrow.

Chinatown is the next place you must visit. In this colorful neighborhood you will find dozens of shops and restaurants of Chinese specialties. Spend the afternoon in Chinatown soaking up the culture. After Chinatown, you should visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This is one of those things that you should be able to say you did. See the tribute to thousands of stars who have made an impact in Hollywood. If you have some time left, check out the farmers market or just spend some time wandering the streets of this amazing city.

That’s probably all the time you’ll have. You will by no means have experienced everything this city has to offer, but you will get a good taste of the city. After this weekend, surely you will not be able to resist the desire to return again and again.
