Aluminum in deodorants is harmful

Let me be perfectly clear. There is no conclusive scientific evidence that aluminum in deodorants causes cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Studies to date have not found a proven relationship between the use of aluminum in deodorants and the risk of developing breast cancer. What we do know for sure is that aluminum has been found in the upper outer quadrant of the breast closest to the armpit in women with breast cancer. Is it just a coincidence that so much aluminum is present in this part of the breast and not in the other parts? Is it just a coincidence that breast cancer rates are increasing? Knowing all this, why would he take the risk?

Aluminum free antiperspirant deodorants are now available and have been specially formulated as an effective natural alternative to irritating aluminum and chemical based deodorants. Instead of aluminum, they contain a zinc complex that absorbs bacteria and odor-causing chemicals produced by the body. Zinc, as you know, also has calming and healing properties and is used in many products to reduce inflammation. They also contain a high concentration of the essential amino acid Lysine which, when used in combination with Zinc, neutralizes the effects of excessive perspiration. Lysine has skin regenerative properties, which is essential as every time the underarm area is shaved, many layers of skin are removed, causing irritation and accelerated water loss or dehydration. The use of aluminum deodorants can further irritate this delicate area. Using products with ingredients including witch hazel, Australian tea tree oil, and geranium oil that are soothing, healing, and calming will have effective anti-inflammatory and antipruritic properties.
