In most cases, you’ll be asked to put down a few preferences – such as whether you want an ensuite or catered accommodation. If you’re a new first-year undergraduate, you’ll be guaranteed campus student accommodation london as long as you meet the conditions of your course offer and submit your application by Thursday 31 August 2023. If you’re a returning student, you can also apply for a place in our halls of residence if you’ve met the requirements on your course offer and have a valid Conditional Firm or Unconditional Firm offer.

Once you’ve applied, your MI will contact you to let you know if they have found you a room in halls. If you’re successful, your MI will email you a contract for you to sign. You’ll then need to pay the deposit (the equivalent of 6 weeks’ rent) and any other additional move-in costs – this will be explained in the contract you sign.

The majority of our student accommodations offer utilities in the rent, so you’ll be able to relax knowing that your electricity, water and gas are covered. Other extras, such as WiFi and insurance, may be included in the rent as well. However, the exact details will depend on each individual property.

If you’re planning to travel around with a partner, you’ll be happy to hear that a lot of our student accommodation offers dual-occupancy rooms. Of course, if you have specific requirements, such as a disabled bathroom, your MI will work with you to find suitable accommodation.
