Baskin-Robbins is creating a frenzy of excitement this summer with their new tubular flavors inspired by Surf’s Up, Penguin Swirl and Splish Splash (TM). Ice cream lovers will go crazy for the unique colors of the flavors as the black ice cream and blue sherbet turn penguin’s tongues black and ocean blue on the first lick. Plus, consumers can cool off with one of Baskin-Robbins’ refreshing new Fruit Blast shakes, a combination of real fruit and fat-free frozen yogurt, available in a variety of new and exotic fruit flavors like Berry Pomegranate Banana.

Coast to coast cruise
Baskin-Robbins will travel to cities across the country this summer with the Surf’s Up mobile tour. The mobile vehicle, designed with colorful images of the Surf’s Up characters, Cody, Lani and Chicken Joe, will provide consumers with the opportunity to sample the Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors, play Ubisoft’s new Surf’s Up video game, and get candy and deals. . The mobile tour will hit the road on June 1, 2007, beginning in Los Angeles and New York and making stops in 31 cities including San Diego, Sacramento, California, San Francisco, Baltimore, Washington, Chicago, Houston and Dallas. The east coast tour will conclude in Dallas on July 16, 2007 and the west coast tour will conclude in Fresno, California. on July 31, 2007.

Surf’s Up is an animated action comedy that takes you behind the scenes in the fast-paced world of competitive surfing. The film portrays teenage Rockhopper penguin Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf), a promising surfer, in his first professional competition. Followed by a camera crew to document his experiences, Cody leaves his family and home in Shiverpool, Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for the Big Z Memorial Surf Off.
