U.S Friday the 13th, be at Omega Nu’s Valentine Bunco in Oroville.
Here, Omega Nu de Oroville will host their annual Valentine Bunco. Tickets are $ 15 for games starting at 7 pm at Oroville Sports Club, 2600 Oro Dam Blvd. Doors will open at 6:30 pm There will be prizes and a chance to win a back room of meat.

U.S February 13th, get ready for puppy love and kitten kisses in Chico.
Puppy Love and Kitten Kisses’ 8th Annual Valentine’s Dinner is February 2. 13 and this is a major fundraiser for the Butte Humane Society. “It’s just superstition” is the theme and participants must wear lucky charms. There will be entry prizes, raffles, silent auctions, and various live auctions, including a dessert auction and a weekend getaway auction. The Mahoneys will offer musical entertainment. The evening, which will be at Chico Masonic Family Center, 1110 W. East Ave., will begin at 6 pm A choice of three tips or pasta primavera is offered for dinner, along with Italian side dishes. Tickets are $ 60 purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.

U.S February 14th – the big night – be sure to be at Oroville Rotary’s Roundup.
On Valentine’s Night, Oroville Rotary will host its 23rd annual Rotary Roundup in February. 14 in the Municipal Auditorium. Doors will open at 6pm with a silent auction. A ranchers dinner will be served at 7 pm and Cottonwood music will begin at 8 pm Tickets purchased in advance are $ 25 per person and are available at Tri Counties Bank and Butte Community Bank in Oroville or at any Rotary club in Oroville at noon. This is the club’s largest fundraiser and the proceeds will be used to fund its community projects.
Of course, you don’t want to miss the Boys and Girls Club Valentine’s Gala at Chico.
It is the 10th annual Valentine’s Day gala held to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the North Valley. 14 at Bell Memorial Union at Chico State University. The night will feature dinner, entertainment by the Wildcat Jazz Ensemble, dancing to the music of disc jockey Greg Scott, and various auctions. Tickets are $ 85 and the deadline to purchase them is Friday.
A silent auction will showcase a variety of products and services, from diamonds to spa packages, sports game tickets, and sailing trips. A live auction will feature items like a sport fishing trip to Mexico and a getaway to Hawaii, learning how to blow glass and throwing a party in a wine cave.
With proceeds from the Gala and other private fundraisers, Boys & Girls Club plans to continue the development of its arts initiative, as well as other educational programs that benefit more than 2,500 youth ages six to 18 after school at eight sites. in Chico, Paradise. , Magalia and Oroville.

Then there is the Valentine’s tea from the Historical Society in Oroville.
The Butte County Historical Society will have its first Valentine’s Day tea in February. 14 at two times, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm Tea with scones, jellies, tea sandwiches and desserts will be served. Shelly Blanchei from T. Tea Bar Fusion Cafe will speak in both seats. During the event, historical clothing from the vaults of the society will be exhibited. Each 90-minute seat is limited to 48 people, at Ehmann Home, 1480 Lincoln. Tickets are $ 20 and can be purchased by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope and check made payable to BCHS, PO Box 2195, Oroville, CA 95965.

Don’t you fancy that? Why not attend the Women’s Club Valentine’s Ball in Chico?
Chico Women’s Club will host a Valentine’s Dance with an open mic session for all ages. 14. Participants can bring their favorite CDs and dress up. Between open mic sessions, people can read their favorite poem or love story. The club will offer champagne, sparkling juices and desserts. Tickets are $ 5- $ 10 per person. Proceeds will help pay for chairs recently purchased by the club.
If that’s not for you, there’s the Sustainability Ball in Chico.
The third annual sustainability ball will take place in February. 14 at the Park Tower Pavilion, 2040 Park Ave. This year’s event theme is “Love the Earth Too” and will feature a four-course vegetarian meal, cooked and served by students with guest chef David Guzzetti. There will be a silent auction, a bar without a host and performances by the new musical duo, MaMuse and Electric Circus. Tickets are $ 20 and are available at Lyon’s Books through February. 13. Limited tickets will be available at the door. An eight-seat table comes with two free bottles of wine for $ 160. The fundraiser supports Chico State and Butte College students in their local and regional sustainability efforts.

A Valentine’s Day fundraiser, My Funny Valentine !, for the Chico State Department of Music will be held at 7:30 pm Feb. 14 at the Harlen Adams Theater on campus. Chico State’s Rocky Winslow will perform his new composition, “She’s Just Dreaming,” as well as other Valentine’s favorites such as “You Stepped Out of a Dream,” “The Very Thought of You,” and “My FoolishHeart.” He will be joined by Grant Levin, Greg D’Augelli, Dan Kinkle and other guest artists. Advance tickets are $ 15 for adults, $ 13 for seniors, and $ 6 for students and children. Add $ 2 at the door.

The Bidwell Generals, Small Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, will present Singing Valentines on February 2. 13 and feb. 14. They will go to businesses, homes, restaurants where the buyer wants them to act. They will do two love songs and present a flower arrangement or candy. The cost is $ 40.

Feb. On the 13th and 14th, hairdressing quartets will be deployed throughout Butte County to deliver “Singing Valentine” to hundreds of bride and groom in offices, restaurants, schools and homes. The quartets belong to the Sound of the Foothills Chorus from Paradise, a chapter of the 34,000-member Barbershop Harmony Society based in Nashville, Tennessee. A typical Valentine Singing will include the delivery of two songs, sung in barber shop harmony, by four men in tuxedos. They will also include a small gift and a personalized card with the sender’s sentiments for $ 40.
