Dodger Stadium is definitely a great baseball experience that fans should enjoy whenever possible. When you think of Los Angeles, you probably think of an expensive place to be; And you would be right. However, when it comes to a trip to Dodger Stadium, you really can go cheap. Here are 4 easy ideas that can save you some money.
1. Free parking
There are actually a few options for finding free parking within a reasonable walk of the stadium. One of those places is across from the hospital on Stadium Way, which is just outside the Elysian Park Ave. entrance to Dodger Stadium. An added benefit of free parking is the lack of traffic in the parking lot after the game. You can also park for free near Dodger Stadium on Academy Rd. Which is right off the 110 Freeway. The curbside parking is just past Park Rd. And north of Solano Canyon. A third place to look for free parking at Dodger Stadium is on Academy Way, just off Interstate 5. In my opinion, that may be the safest option because it is right next to the Police Academy and there is a decent amount free parking. Dyed.
two. Get high
The upper deck seats are commonly known as “nosebleeds” seats, but at Dodger Stadium they are really nice. Sitting high behind home plate not only provides a great view of the game, but it also provides a great view of the surrounding hills and the sunset at times. These tickets are only $ 11 each, which is an excellent value even compared to most other major league stadiums.
3. Buy extra
You may not be a huge Dodgers fan, in fact you may be reading this because you are about to go to your first game and you want to be prepared. I feel the need to mention that the Dodgers offer incredible prices on their mini-season ticket packages. You can purchase a 12-game package for as little as $ 48 per seat. For the bad guys with math, it’s $ 4 a game, amazing. If you don’t want to go to 12 games this year, we only sell your extra tickets to friends or on eBay or StubHub. You really can’t go wrong with that deal, you could probably go to 5 games and sell the other 7 to cover expenses.
Four. Bring your own food
Dodger Stadium allows outside food / snacks and beverages to be brought into the stadium. What that means is that you can pack your own candy, peanuts, dinner, and sodas for the trip. This saves you money because, as you’ve probably heard, the statistical prices are outrageous. I am pleased to inform you that you are not a captive audience at Dodger Stadium.
